Frequently Asked Questions

How can I register?

Registration materials will be mailed at the beginning of April 2010 to alumni in classes celebrating a reunion. Online registration will also be available at that time.

Will I receive a confirmation after I register?

Yes. Those registering prior to Friday, May 21 will receive a written confirmation indicating we have received your registration form. Those registering online will receive an e-mail confirmation.

What should I wear?

For the most part, the weekend is casual. Some people dress less casually for the Saturday night dinner, but it is not required. Please remember that Meadville weather is very unpredictable.

I'm staying on campus. What should I bring?

Bed linens and towels are provided in all locations, but please bring your own pillow. If you are flying, we have a few extra pillows available on campus. If needed, a limited number of extra blankets will also be available. Personal toiletry items are needed. Please bring hangers if you wish to hang clothing, as they are not provided. Please note: most rooms do not have private bathrooms, so please remember your robe.

Are any of the on-campus lodging options air-conditioned?

North Village and College Court are air-conditioned.

Where can I park?

All campus lots will be available for parking.

Where should I go first?

When you arrive on campus, please check-in at the Registration Desk at the Tippie Alumni Center in Cochran Hall. If you have reserved on-campus lodging, please go directly to that residence hall (North Village, College Court or Brooks Hall). For your convenience, your registration packet will be waiting for you there. Click here to view a campus map.

What if I arrive after registration is closed?

Please contact the Alumni Affairs Office at 814-332-5384 in advance, and we will have your registration packet (and room key if you are staying on campus) available for you to pick up from the Office of Safety & Security, located in the Newton Observatory on North Main Street.

Will the Bookstore be open for purchases?

Yes. The hours are: Thursday and Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Saturday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Can I use the Library?

Yes. The hours are: Thursday and Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Saturday 8:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Closed Sunday

Can I use the Wise Sport & Fitness Center?

Yes. The hours are: Thursday and Friday 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.; Saturday 6:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Mellon Pool hours are: Thursday and Friday 1 - 7 p.m.; Saturday 6:30 - 8:30 a.m. and Noon - 2:00 p.m.; and Sunday 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Can I use the computers on campus?

Yes. Computers will be available in the Tippie Alumni Center, Pelletier Library and Henderson Campus Center. We will also have wireless access available.

Will there be childcare available?

There will not be childcare available.

Is there a Choir Reunion/Concert this year?

No. The next Choir Reunion will be in 2012.

Can I arrange for a tee time?

Golf is open to all Reunion Weekend attendees at the Meadville Country Club on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as numerous public golf courses all weekend. For more information, click here. Will handicapped parking options be available?
