Kelly Swiney '99 New Head Baseball CoachAllegheny College Director of Athletics and Recreation Betsy Mitchell has announced that Kelly Swiney '99 has accepted the position of head baseball coach at Allegheny College after a national search. Swiney, a 1999 graduate of the college with a B.S. in managerial economics, comes back to Meadville after serving as an assistant at Amherst College (MA) under legendary coach Bill Thurston for the last two seasons. He was also an assistant at King’s College (PA), Thiel College and Washington & Jefferson College.
